Well, I apologize for not blogging sooner. Life got in the way which is exactly why I didnt want to start in the first place. I had a huge yard sale. I killed two of my pets. I have been scrapbooking my head off. We have tons of things to get done to the house before winter. We got a front yard full of sod. I have a gynourmous calling and its quarterly enrichment season with our huge super saturday type thing, all of which I am in charge of. I have started working out. Raegen was the special person of the WEEK at school (what happened to special person of the day?). I have been helping my dog daizee raise her new puppies till I can sell them. I have been trying to sell them. We have been camping and hunting (away from a computer). I was on vacation in vegas. We installed my grandmas fence. blah blah blah blah blah. I could go on and on and on about why I havent blogged and im sure no one wants to hear it but when it rains it pours i guess. So Happy Bloggy Birthday to all you who have sent me harrassing messages about my lack of blogging...you know who you are.

This is tiny dog. He was the runt of my second litter of Yorkie puppies. He never grew bigger than a week and a half old puppy should grow and he lived to be five weeks old. We took him to the vet on monday where they told us he had every birth defect known to dogs and he probably wouldn't make it. I could put him down, or I could try to nurse him throughout his life. He wasnt in any pain they said so I opted to take care of him. I took care of him until thursday when he died in his sleep. This pic was taken the day he died because I just knew he wasnt going to make it. look how tiny he is in my hand. We put him in a huggies wipes box (that was the kids idea of a casket) and we burried him close to our chili chon chones. It has been a hard couple of weeks for the kids and our pets.

For those wondering about chili chon chones, she was our kitty and yes I ran over her. It was a horrible day and the kids (especially max) didnt understand. Max kept saying "what did the kitty do? Why did you kill my kitty?" Like that doesnt rip a mothers heart out. I kept trying to tell him it was an accident but obviously he didnt get what that meant. long story short I cried like a baby. I have never liked cats but this kitty and I were friends and I feel incredibly guilty that her death was my fault. so sad, but it opened up an awesome opportunity to explain the plan of salvation to our kids in a tangible way that they get a little bit now because it relates to something they loved

Ok, first of all I am still learning all of the funky functions of my camera. Thus the fuzzy pictures so forgive me. someday I will learn. Cassidy and I went to Los Vegas for the Mine Expo. We left on a Sunday and came home on Thursday. Sunday we got in at 11:30 pm so we just went upstairs and went to bed...however they were out of non smoking rooms so they upgraded us (for free!!! yea!!!) to a suite. However, we had to move the next morning. Monday after we moved rooms we ate breakfast at McDonalds, Cass went to his expo and I layed out. That night I had a headache so in the city that never sleeps we went to our room and went to sleep. Tuesday we got up and ate breakfast at McDonalds, Cass went to the expo and I layed out....all day long and left the pool looking like a lobster. oops. That night we went to a Lionel Richie concert sponsored by Caterpiller. If you look at us in the picture, we look pretty uptown (for vernal anyway). We got to the event and everyone but all us hillbilly rednecks from vernal were dressed in formal attire!!!! It was truely one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. We had hordeovers (is that how they are spelled?) with caviar and the whole nine yards. Then we had a seven cours dinner with like 5 forks 4 knives 4 goblets. My server put my napkin in my lap and I thought she was molesting me. Yes I am from the sticks. All in all the concert was awesome! the food was weird but good and I had a great time. I missed the kids and it was so good to come home to my little po dunk town.

All of the girls went to the scrapbook expo usa. We had so much fun shopping and scrapbooking. I spent soooo much money it isn't funny and got very little scrapbooking done. This to my dismay because I left the kids home with Cassidy for the specific purpose of me getting a whole crapload of scrapping done minus the kiddies. Oh well, I had a blast anyway. Here is Marilee, Megan, Alys, and me. Aren't we cute...even if it is like 6:00 am?

We were on the mountain camping when Raegen lost her tooth. I didn't even know it was loose. So at dinner Raegen informed me that her tooth just fell out of her mouth. Here are the shots. I dont know what is on her front teeth in the close up, but she looks like her teeth are rotting out. I assure you they are not. I obviously didn't come prepared (if you are picking up what I'm putting down) so I had to tell Raegen when she woke up the next morning that the Tooth Fairy couldn't find us on the mountain and I'm sure there will be a prize waiting for her at home under her real pillow on her real bed. The joys of motherhood and breaking your kids hearts.

This is a picture I took of a deer during Cassidy's hunt. Cassidy sadly didnt get his big kill, but I did. I also have a picture of the only buck that Cassidy got in shooting range of...and who took the shot? me, thats who. He said he wasn't feelin' it. Crazy. The pic of the buck is too fuzzy for me to post. It was really cool to be this close to the animals and not have them freak out!!!

The floods are comin!!!

I dont know who watches the news but right down the little hill from me was on the news last night. There was a flash flood right down the hill from me when that killer rain storm hit. About 10 of my neighbors homes were flooded with at least 6 inches of water in their basements. It was incredible. The police thought I was just a looky loo trying to get a peek at the damage. I almost had to throw fists just to let him let me by to get home. In at least 5 places from my house to Lapoint the road was completely washed out. Craziest thing ever!!! This week anyway.
